It is Friday again...

And my plans of posting a PRICE BREAKS AND HEARTACHES story every week has been shattered. I am too busy getting the serial novel into shape.

So much for Multi-tasking

Still though, here are my favorite links for the week...

Kindertrauma gave us an article about PHANTASM II

Top Horror Movies Club shared a review of SPLINTER (2008). I am very interested in the seeing this film now.

Darcknyt tried to warn us all of the dangers of "Activist Bacon" but I fear he is too late to pull out fat from the fire. (See what I did there)

Horror's Not Dead recommended a film on IFC On Demand called THE CHASER. The described it as "...about a pimp who gets caught up in the web of a serial killer who has been hiring out and killing off his girls."

I just discovered I Watch Horror Movies a fairly new website but I enjoyed their article about 1965's DIE MONSTER DIE.

Mad Mad Mad Mad Movies talked about a Paul Naschy film called The Mummy's Revenge. I wish I had more familiarity with Nachy's work, especially since he was in one of my favorite films from childhood ASSIGNMENT TERROR. (Aliens kidnap Dracula, Frankenstien, the Wolf Man and the Mummy as part of a plan to enslave humanity. Now THAT is a plot my friends.)

Fran Hogan started working on his webcomic Darwinism again and there was much rejoicing. I love the way his mind works... yet I am also terrified of it.

Frankensteina just told me about VAMPIRE GIRL vs FRANKENSTEIN GIRL. Count me in folks!

Monster Brains dug up some art from a deleted sequence for Clive Barker's underrated film NIGHTBREED. I love the movie but it could have been so much more!

Vault of Horror talked about the soundtrack for LET THE RIGHT ONE IN.

The authoress of Thoughts of a GEG was kind enough to give this blog a plug making her blog THE MOST IMPORTANT BLOG EVER OF THE WEEK!

Well that's it for this week's links. Enjoy!

Since I seem to be in a musical frame of mind today...

Here is the long form video for Alice Cooper's Along Came A Spider.

It is a great album and Alice still rocks.

Some zombies with a dash of the Mythos and a whole lotta metal!

Of course I am talking about Metallica's song All Nightmare Long from their latest album.

Heck of a video in my opinion.

ATTENTION NORTH DAKOTA AND MONTANA

Where the Hell are you guys?

All me to explain

As you can see from my ClustrmapI have had visitors from all fifty states except for the two holdouts Montana and North Dakota.

OK you folks in those fine states, what is it going to take for me to get some fans in your neck of the woods?

More horror? More comedy? Random nudity?

And if any of you readers have friends there... let them know what they're missing!

My God! What have I done?

Well at least my blog isn't same as it ever was...

Same as it ever was...

I made some more changes, can you tell?

I have made all my longer works available with dropdown menus instead of link after link after link. Each longer work also has a "Click here to continue" link as well to keep fumbling around to a minimum.

Still though, this might be the worstest incarnation of my blog yet.

What do YOU the reader at home think?

I have said it before and I will say it again...

Those ninjas are a menace!

Police: Sword-Waving Ninja Attempted Mass. Robbery

"Police say a man dressed liked a ninja used a sword in an attempt to rob a Weymouth dry cleaner..."

Really? A dry cleaners?

What's the matter Snake Eyes did you lose the ticket to pick up your laundry?

Another week another chapter...

The latest chapter of my serial novel is up. The plot is starting heat up now.

Well at least I hope it is anyway.

Please let me know what you think.

Also... there may be some delays in my Price Breaks and Heartaches series. I am trying to hammer the second book of my serial novel into place and while it is turning out cooler than I thought it would be it is also taking more work.

Still though hang in there and keep circulating the blog.

Oh and also... here is the song currently stuck in my head...

Do you know Dick?

Dick Marvil that is.

The folks at Role Playing Public Radio did an audio dramatization of my RPG.net rant Achy Breaky Mythos.

These folks make me laugh out loud at my own material. If you need a good laugh give this a listen. In fact their whole catalog is worth your time.

A Post-Apocalyptic Ragdoll Adventure?

Holy crap! The movie is called 9.

Why am I just hearing about this now?

Check out the teasers!

And here is a little more courtesy of the website I Watch Stuff.

In a way this reminds me of John Tynes rpg PUPPETLAND

Wow. Count me in for this one.

While the blood's running warm in your veins...

I have fallen behind in my reading of Larry Latham's excellent webcomic Lovecraft Is Missing.

But on the other hand hand can't think of a better way to spend your morning than catching up with a rip-roaring pulp style adventure. If you have not tried the webcomic yet do so now.

The story begins here and once you start reading you're going to go straight through to the end.
