JOHNNY LARUE'S CRANE SHOT pays tribute to the legend of Masten Thrust Jr!

From JOHNNY LARUE'S CRANE SHOT

Basically a mixture of Jules Verne, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Toho monster movies, and the Jock Mahoney adventure THE LAND UNKNOWN for Universal-International, THE LAST DINOSAUR sends wealthy white hunter Thrust (Richard Boone), journalist Frankie Banks (Joan Van Ark), scientist Kawamoto (Tetsu Nakamura), geologist Chuck Wade (Steven Keats), and tracker Bunta (Lester Rackley) above the Arctic Circle, where they enter a tropical valley populated with dinosaurs beneath a volcano. The party becomes stranded there, and Thrust becomes obsessed with killing a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Boone, a great actor who became a television star on HAVE GUN WILL TRAVEL, is fascinating to watch for both the right and wrong reasons....

Miguel Ferrer? Oh God Damnit no!

Miguel Ferrer, who had played Owen Granger on NCIS: Los Angeles since 2012 and co-starred with Jill Hennessy on CBS’ Crossing Jordan, died today of cancer. He was 61.

The son of Oscar-winning Cyrano de Bergerac actor Jose Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney, and cousin of George Clooney, he was set to reprise his role as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfeld on David Lynch’s revival Twin Peaks, which premieres May 21 on Showtime...

On one hand you're married to Drew Barrymore, on the other she eats human flesh. I don't see a downside.

A familiar title with an interesting premise.

Another awesome LOGAN tailer!

Another Bigfoot movie?

GONE & FORGOTTEN meets The Whistler!

From GONE & FORGOTTEN
...Young Mallory Drakes, would-be police reporter, berates his editor into finally gifting him his sought-after assignment, and rushes off to tell his world-famous brother the good news. What inordinate skill granted older sibling Jerry Drake the celebration of the world's audiences? He was a theatrical whistler. I can hardly imagine someone whistling their way to rapturous applause, but then again there used to be musical farters. Also, have you ever seen the Jim Rose Circus? Or Two Broke Girls? Anything's possible...

...Before death takes him completely, Jerry begs his younger brother to remember an ominous musical tone of their youth. "Remember ... once you whistled ... three notes? Made shivers run down my spine" he confesses, dying, "Scariest sound I ever heard."

"Use that whistle to scare criminals. Pay them back...

JOHNNY LARUE'S CRANE SHOT visits SAVAGE BEACH!

By the time he made SAVAGE BEACH, writer/director Andy Sidaris had his perfect formula for escapist adventure down pat: gorgeous women (always nude or scantily clad), handsome guys, Hawaiian beaches and palm trees, guns, gadgets, explosions, tongue-in-cheek humor, suggestive dialogue, and a slick production that belied its low budget...
